Good Morning beautiful people. Those os you that receive my text quote and links every morning, received a late evening please for help last night. THANK YOU, to all who texted back. This morning is covered.
I fell while I was putting my 2 pitties out after work last night and I have a severe catastrophic fracture of my left tibia (the largest of your two shin bones) at the very top. So basically I broke my knee, not the knee cap but the main lower bone. Per the PA at the Ortho Urgent Care, I will have to have surgery. I meet with the surgeon this morning. Yes, I am in severe pain which is complicated due to my severe allergies to narcotics. Pain however is not the worst part for me. The worst part is that in an instant I went from being Super self-sufficent to Totally Dependent.
I’m now non-weightbearing, I can do practically nothing for myself. Apparently, I need to slow down and ask for help. I am so grateful to my youngest Bestie and her Mom, my Life Partner, and a wonderful Text-Blog reader who is here now feeding my beautiful pitties.
I will be putting out pleas for help, not to the whole group again, but via Facebook and to those that have reached out.
When was the last time you asked for help? When was the last time you slowed down? If you don’t HP (Higher Power) will make you slow down and ask for help.
