The Dragon Lady's Journey

Good Morning! I was going to post about the wonderful power of ADLs, specifically a shower, but something more pressing has come up. One of my dear friends that comes over to help with my animals, had an awful incident with someone who was supposed to be helping her. This “Counselor” told her that she was beyond help and that “statistically” she would never get better and that she would end up locked up or dead because of her issues. This infuriates me!!! No One who can feel is beyond hope. I work a 12 step recovery program that can and has helped even the most depraved souls to recover and become not just productive members of society, but amazing members of society. Before you go casting judgement, make sure that you are absolutely pure and without flaws, otherwise keep your emotionally broken opinions to yourself!
